API access is a paid add-on module called API Access. It is not included in any base plan, including the Free plan.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Recurring price | $99/month |
| Included usage | 100,000 API calls per billing cycle |
| Overage | $1.00 per additional 10,000 calls (or part thereof) |
| One-time fee | $295 setup and activation |
| Annual prepay discount | 15% off when the module is billed yearly |
| Free tier eligibility | Not included — paid add-on for all accounts (including free base) |
Billing notes:
- The included 100,000 calls reset at the start of each billing cycle. Every authenticated request that reaches the API counts as one call (rejected requests — bad key, rate limit — do not count).
- Monthly subscribers: overage is added as a line item on the next monthly renewal invoice, so it is charged at the end of the billing cycle it was used in.
- Yearly subscribers: overage is invoiced separately each month, on the day of the month the subscription started.
- The account owner receives an email when usage reaches 80% and again at 100% of the monthly limit. The 100% email confirms that overage billing applies; the API keeps working.
- The $295 activation fee is charged once, with the first purchase. It includes the configuration, credential setup and technical onboarding support.
Note: If an overage invoice goes unpaid past its due date, API access is suspended — the API subscription and every active key are marked Suspended and requests return
401. Access is restored automatically when the invoice is paid.
Note: Pricing questions beyond this table (custom volume, enterprise arrangements) should be routed to the PSS team rather than answered from this document.
Purchasing the add-on
- Open your company/profile menu (top-left) and choose Subscription & Billing.
- On the Subscription Plan tab, scroll to Select Add-on Modules (Optional).
- On the API Access card, click Learn more to review the call limit, overage rate and activation fee, then choose Monthly or Yearly and add the module to your cart.
- Complete checkout. The API subscription activates as soon as the payment succeeds.
Until the module is purchased, Settings → API Keys shows a locked state: an API Keys is not in your plan card with an Upgrade to unlock API Keys button that takes you to Subscription & Billing. Closing that card leaves a persistent API Keys is not included in your current plan banner with a Purchase module button.
If you later remove the module, your keys keep working until the end of the period you already paid for, then stop.
