Exports are simpler than imports, but a few behaviors are shared by all of them:
- Immediate downloads. Clients, Client Payment Info, Invoice Templates, Routes, Catalog, Recurring Jobs, Recurring Charges and QBO/PSS Balance Diffs download as soon as you click them. The button shows a processing state while the file is prepared.
- Filter dialogs. Every other export opens a dialog. Fill in the filters and click Export; the dialog closes and the file downloads. Multi-select fields (Clients, Technicians, Property Type, Tags) can always be left empty to mean all.
- Date ranges are limited. Each date-range dialog enforces a maximum span, listed with the export below. If you exceed it you see Max date range is N days. and nothing is downloaded; an end date before the start date gives Choose an end date on or after the start date.
- Nothing to export. When no records match, PSS shows a red message (for example Property Entries Not Found For Company. or No jobs found for the selected filters.) instead of downloading an empty file.
- File names start with
pssand include the date or date range, e.g.pssclients-2026-09-22.csvorpss-jobs-summary-2026-09-01-to-2026-09-30.csv. - Money and dates are written in your account’s currency and local time zone.
