Profit & Loss and Profit & Loss – Jobs Only open the same dialog, titled Export Profit and Loss (Overall) or Export Profit and Loss (Only Jobs). It provides a profit and loss summary broken down per client.
- Clients, Tags — leave empty for all. When tags are chosen, only properties carrying those tags are counted.
- Start Date / End Date — up to 120 days.
- Comparison Mode — Year over Year (YoY) compares against the same dates one year earlier; Previous Period compares against the period of the same length immediately before.
- Costs to include — Labor Cost, Catalog Unit Cost, Dosage Cost (all on by default). Uncheck a cost to leave it out of the margin.
The Overall variant takes each client’s revenue from the invoices issued in the period (falling back to the properties’ monthly revenue when a client has no invoices); the Jobs Only variant takes revenue from the client’s jobs alone. Columns: Client Name, Revenue, Labor, Dosages, Unit Costs, Profit Margin (amount), Profit Margin (%age), Profit Change (YoY) or Profit Change (Prev Period), Total Service Routes, Total Jobs, with a totals row at the bottom. Money columns carry your currency sign in the header.
Note: Labor cost is your technicians’ pay as configured in Team and on each property or job, dosage cost is the chemical cost recorded on visits, and unit cost comes from the catalog’s unit-cost history. If those are not maintained, the margin will be overstated.
