Client Reviews asks your clients to rate a job or visit with one tap — Happy, Neutral or Unhappy — from the client portal, from emailed visit reports and from invoice emails, and then shows them a message you choose. This panel is where you turn the feature on and write that copy. Where the ratings show up afterwards is covered in Section 7 (Visit History), Section 1 (the client’s profile) and Section 9 (the Client Submitted Review notification).
At the top of the panel is the Enable Client Reviews switch. While it is off, the fields below are visible but greyed out and no survey prompts are sent; ratings already collected are kept. The panel has two tabs, each saved with its own Save button:
Survey Message — what the client sees when asked to rate:
- Heading — the subject line, up to 50 characters.
- Message — the introductory text, up to 200 characters.
- Preview — how the prompt will look in visit reports, emails and invoices.
- Client Portal Title — the heading used in the client portal’s visit history, up to 50 characters, with its own preview.
After Response — what the client sees after answering, with a sub-tab for each sentiment (Happy, Neutral, Unhappy):
- Icon — pick an emoji for the pop-up.
- Heading (up to 50 characters) and Message (up to 200 characters).
- Preview Pop-Up — a live preview of the pop-up for the selected sentiment.
- External Review Site — on the Happy tab only. Tick Enable external review site and enter the full address of your Google, Yelp or other review page (starting with http:// or https://). Happy clients are then offered Leave a Review / No, thanks. Saving with the box ticked but no address is rejected.
Note: Until you save for the first time, the panel shows PSS’s default wording in your company’s locale (for example Rate your experience with us). Once you save, the text is yours and is shown to clients exactly as written, in every language.
