The list shows Requested On, Property, Status, Desired Start Date, Attachments and Reply From Office.
New Work Request opens the form:
- Select Property — which property the request is about.
- Desired Date — optional; when they would like it done.
- Request Notes — what the problem is.
- Attachments — optional photos or documents.
- Send Request.
What can be attached: JPG, PNG and PDF files only, up to 15 MB each. Anything else is refused with “Only JPG, PNG and PDF files can be attached.”, and an oversized file with “Attachments must be 15 MB or smaller.”
Note: PSS checks what a file actually is, not just what it is called — renaming a file to
PSS confirms with “Your work request has been sent to admin”. The request appears immediately with status Open, and lands on the Work Requests page in your PSS web app for your office to answer.
Changing or withdrawing a request
Clicking a request opens its Work Request Detail. For a short while the client can still Edit it or Delete it from the foot of that panel — but only while all of these hold: the request is still Open, your office has not replied, no job has been attached to it, and it is less than 24 hours old. Once any of those changes, the buttons disappear and the request is read-only for the client. Deleting asks “Are you sure you want to delete this work request?” first.
Your reply — written from the Work Requests page in PSS (21.12) — appears in the Reply From Office column, along with the status you set, so the client can follow the request without calling.
