Optional: Customize Your Visit Tasks

New accounts already come with a standard set of Readings, Dosages and Checklist Items, so your technicians can record visits from day one. The one thing worth doing now is entering your chemical costs, so PSS can show what each pool costs you to treat.

  1. Click Settings, then Visit Tasks & Costs.
  2. Open the Dosages tab. Under Cost Data, enter what each chemical costs you and choose the unit in per (for example, $4.50 per gallon). You can also link each chemical to a Catalog Item (for invoicing).
  3. (Optional) Adjust Readings (the water chemistry your techs record) and Checklist Items (skim, vacuum, brush, empty baskets and so on): choose what to Show, what is Required, and drag items into your preferred order.
  4. Click Save.
