Under Select Your Base Subscription you will find the four plan tiers. Plans are sized by the number of properties you actively service (see 5.3):
| Plan | Properties | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 to 10 properties | $0.00 / month |
| Dive In | 11 to 50 properties | $49.99 / month |
| Ripple Effect | 51 to 100 properties | $99.00 / month |
| Wave Maker | 101+ properties | $0.95 / property |
A few things to know about the plan selector:
- Monthly / Yearly toggle — switch between monthly and annual billing. Annual billing is discounted (Save 15%); each paid card shows a 15% off badge, the discounted monthly-equivalent price, and Billed Annually when Yearly is selected. (For example, Dive In shows $42.49 / month on Yearly and is charged as one annual payment.)
- Features included — every plan card has a Features included link that opens the Key Features list.
- The button on each card tells you what selecting it would do. Your current plan is marked Current Plan (with a ribbon) and cannot be clicked. Larger plans show Upgrade, smaller plans show Downgrade, and the same tier in the other billing cycle shows Renew (switching you from monthly to yearly or back). Once you click a card it turns green and reads Selected; click it again to unselect it.
- On the Free plan, Free is your Current Plan and every paid plan shows Upgrade.
The Free Plan and Its Limits
The Free plan lets you run PSS at no cost for a small operation. It is a permanent plan, not a time-limited trial—you can stay on it indefinitely as long as you remain within its limits.
What you get on Free. The Free plan includes the same core features as the paid plans—the mobile app, clients and properties, jobs and quotes, service routes, visit reports, invoicing and payments, and the rest of the feature set listed under Key Features below. Nothing is switched off simply because you are on Free.
Where the Free plan is limited:
- Up to 10 properties, as a hard cap—no overage. Paid plans let you exceed your limit and pay a small per-property overage (see 5.9). The Free plan does not: 10 properties is a firm ceiling.
- Up to 10 clients as well. The Free plan is the one place where your client count matters: a Free account must stay at 10 or fewer clients and 10 or fewer properties. The plan card only mentions properties, but an account with 11 clients is treated the same as one with 11 properties.
- The cap counts every property in your account, not just the ones you service. Unlike the paid plans, which are billed on properties serviced during the period (see 5.3), the Free plan counts all of your non-archived properties toward the 10. Holding 11 properties puts you over the limit even if you only service a few.
- Going over the limit restricts access until you resolve it. If a Free account exceeds its limits, PSS treats the account as needing an upgrade—the notice bar reads Subscription is expired, several menu items (Routes, Catalog, Shopping List, Leads, Vendors, Invoices, Announcements) disappear from the sidebar, and you are prompted to choose a paid plan. To restore access, either upgrade to a paid plan (see 5.6) or reduce your client and property counts back to 10 or fewer.
Free plan vs. free trial. A brand-new account starts with an initial 14-day free trial during which the Free-plan caps are not enforced, so you can explore with more than 10 clients or properties. Once that trial ends and you are on the permanent Free plan, the limits apply.
Add-on modules still work on Free. Optional add-on modules (see “Add-on Modules” below) are billed separately and can be added on any plan, including Free.
On the mobile app. The mobile app does not display plan or property-limit information—subscriptions are managed from the web app. If a Free account has gone over its limit, the mobile app narrows the menu to Sync, Settings, Clients, and Team, prevents creating new clients or properties, and shows a message to renew from the web app. Syncing continues to work.
Key Features
Clicking Features included opens the Key Features window. All paid plans include the same core feature set:
- Mobile App
- Jobs & Quotes
- Routing
- Visit Reports
- Invoicing & Payments
- Shopping List
- Track Costs
- Equipment
- Readings & Dosages
- LSI Calculator
- Announcements
- Geo Location
- Control Center
Wave Maker — choosing your property count
Wave Maker is for companies servicing more than 100 properties, and it is priced per property rather than as a flat tier. Instead of a fixed limit, you tell PSS how many properties you want covered, and your price is that count multiplied by $0.95 per property per month (or $0.81 on Yearly billing).
The Wave Maker card starts out reading 101+ Properties In-Use* with an Upgrade button. Clicking it opens the Wave Maker Select window, which walks you through three steps:
- Property Count — enter the number of properties you expect to service (between 101 and 10,000). Your live Current Count is shown underneath as a guide.
- Choose Subscription — pick the Wave Maker size that covers your number from the dropdown. Sizes start at Wave Maker 125 and step up in blocks (every 25 properties up to 500, then 50, 100 and 200 as the numbers grow), so a count of 110 rounds up to Wave Maker 125.
- Review & Select — check the plan name, billing cycle and total, then click Select.
The card now reads, for example, Wave Maker 125 — 125 Properties* selected — at $118.75 / month, and a Make Changes link on the card lets you reopen the window and pick a different size later.
Note: The number you pick is your plan’s limit. If you service more properties than your Wave Maker size in a billing period, the normal $3.00-per-property overage applies (see 5.9), so choose a size with a little headroom or increase it with Make Changes as you grow.
Add-on Modules (Optional)
Below the plans, Select Add-on Modules (Optional) lists paid add-ons you can attach to any plan, including Free. Add-ons are billed on their own schedule, separate from your base plan, and each appears as its own line in Billing History.
Every module card works the same way:
- Learn more opens a window describing the module.
- Monthly / Yearly radio buttons set the billing cycle; Yearly shows a 15% off badge and Billed Annually.
- Click to Add stages the module for checkout (the button changes to Remove so you can take it back out of the cart), then click Next to pay.
- Once purchased, the card reads Current Module, shows Currently on Monthly Plan (or Yearly Plan) with your Next billing on date, and offers a Cancel Module link (see below). If you switch the radio button to the other cycle, the button reads Renew—adding it to the cart moves the module to that cycle.
The modules currently offered are:
- Dedicated Text Message Number ($3.99 / month) — a dedicated phone number PSS uses to send text messages to your clients. After purchase the card shows No phone number assigned with a Setup Now button; click it to open Setup Phone Number, choose from the available numbers (each shows its location and capabilities), click Continue, then Purchase Number. When you see Ready to Send! the number is live and is displayed on the card from then on.
- API Access — programmatic access to your PSS data for integrations (see Section 20, Public API). Learn more shows the terms: 100,000 API calls per month (the limit resets on the first day of each billing cycle), an overage rate of $1.00 per 10,000 additional calls billed automatically at the end of the cycle, and a one-time $295.00 setup and activation fee that covers configuration, credential setup and onboarding support. The activation fee is shown on the card (Activation fee $295.00 one time set up) until it has been paid, and appears as its own line at checkout. PSS emails the account owner when you reach 80% and 100% of the monthly call limit.
- Client Portal — a self-service web portal where your clients can see their visits and invoices and pay online (see Section 21, Client Portal (Admin)). The portal is tiered on how many clients have portal access, not on your whole client list: Free covers 1–10 portal clients, Tier 1 11–100, Tier 2 101–500, and Tier 3 501+. The green box on the card shows the tier that matches your current portal-client count with its price; click it to open the tier picker and choose a higher tier if you plan to invite more clients (tiers below what your count requires are greyed out). Learn more opens Portal Plans with the full Monthly/Yearly price table. A first-time purchase of a paid tier comes with a 60-day free trial—checkout shows Client Portal — 60-day free trial and the date of the first charge, and nothing is charged that day.
Note: Client Portal tiers do not move on their own. When your portal-client count grows into a new tier, the card shows a message that your usage has moved to this plan and the button reads Upgrade—select it and complete checkout to update your billing. Likewise, moving the Client Portal from Yearly to Monthly is not charged today: PSS shows a confirmation window and schedules the switch for the end of the yearly period you have already paid for.
Cancelling a module. Click Cancel Module on a current module’s card. The Remove window explains that you keep full access until the end of the current period, that there are no further charges after that, and that you can undo the cancellation before the end date. Type CANCEL to confirm and click Cancel Module. The card then reads Module Cancelled; the module stays active until the period ends.
