- Start with the cards that already work. Late Invoices, Low Inventory, Missed Work, Too Far Away, Equipments and Office Notifications come with starter rules; if they show real data, the feature is working and you can tune from there.
- Add Readings and Dosages rules first. These two cards are empty until you create a rule. A single pH Greater Than 8 rule for All Properties is a good first test.
- Check Today each morning. A quick pass over the cards before routes go out tells the office what to follow up — skipped stops from yesterday, a Notify Office message, a review photo that needs a reply.
- Narrow noisy rules by target. If a rule fires too often, restrict it to a property type or a tag rather than deleting it — for example, apply a Long Visits rule only to properties tagged Commercial.
- Use the Manager filter for supervisors. A property manager can filter the whole page to their own properties with one selection under Team Members.
- Remember what the date filter cannot do. Late Invoices, Equipments and Low Inventory are always “right now”; use the Days Late or Expiration columns, not the date dropdown, to focus on the oldest problems.
- Turn on the notifications you want. Building a rule does not by itself alert anyone. Open Notification Preferences and switch on the matching Control Center Notifications rows for the people who should hear about it.
