The Control Center is the exception dashboard for your office. Instead of opening every visit, job, invoice and catalog item to look for problems, you tell PSS what “a problem” looks like — a pH reading above 8.0, a route stop finished in under 5 minutes, an invoice more than 30 days late, fewer than 5 tablets left in stock — and the Control Center counts and lists every record that matches.
It works on rules. Each rule belongs to one of ten event types (Readings, Dosages, Short Visits, and so on), names which properties, clients or catalog items it watches, and sets a condition such as Greater Than 45 minutes. Anything that matches any rule appears on the matching card and in its detail list. Rules are saved once per company and apply to everyone who opens the Control Center.
From the Control Center you can:
- See at a glance how many issues of each type exist for Today or the last 2, 7, 30, 60 or 90 days.
- Click a card to open a searchable, sortable list of every matching record, with a details pop-up for each one.
- Narrow everything by client name, property type, tag, technician or property manager.
- Hide the event types your business does not use.
- Create, edit and delete the rules behind each card.
Several rule types can also send a notification when a rule is broken the moment a technician saves a visit. Those alerts are configured in Notification Preferences and are covered in 10.11 and in Section 9 (Notifications).
