The same catalog item feeds every place PSS builds a line item:
- Jobs and quotes (section 3) — under Line Items, choose a catalog item to fill the item type, description, unit price, quantity and tax flag; its Default Job Duration adds to the job’s duration and its Tech Pay feeds the Catalog Tech Pay calculation. Shopping items on a job also reference a catalog item.
- Invoices (section 6) — pick a catalog item on an invoice line to auto-fill the description and price. Recurring Invoices and Recurring Charges use catalog items the same way, and a per-visit recurring invoice bills a chosen catalog item for each completed visit. Late fees and processing fees each require a catalog item to post the fee against.
- Service routes (section 2) — items a technician adds during a route visit are catalog items, and a chemical in a Dosages task view can be linked to a catalog item so dosages can be invoiced.
- Shopping List (section 14) — each shopping list entry references a catalog item, and marking entries Purchased or Done drives the inventory count.
- Import & Export (section 18) — a Company Admin can bulk-load the Catalog from a CSV file (a sample file is provided) and export it again from Settings → Import & Export.
- Public API (section 20) — the
/v1/catalogendpoints expose the same items to your own integrations.
