Create Dosage Invoice bills the selected properties for the chemicals dosed during the current Date Range, using the invoice settings in 11.6. The button stays greyed out until at least one property is checked.
- Set the Date Range to the billing period and use the filters to bring up the properties you want to bill.
- Tick the checkbox on each property to include, or tick the checkbox in the table header to select every property on the current page.
- Click Create Dosage Invoice.
- If PSS asks Include Job Dosages?, choose Include them this time, Route dosages only, or Cancel (see below).
- PSS confirms with Successfully created N invoices! Review them under Invoices unless Auto-Send Invoice After Creation is on.
For each selected property PSS gathers the dosages recorded on service route visits in the range and, where allowed, on completed job visits, converts them to line items in the chosen Line Items Format, and either appends them to the client’s latest draft or creates a new invoice, according to Invoice Creation Mode.
Note: The header checkbox selects only the rows on the page you are viewing (10 per page). To bill more than 10 properties, work page by page, or narrow the list with a tag or client type first.
Note: A property only carries the chemicals that were actually dosed and priced. Missing pool volume does not stop a property from being invoiced and has no effect on the line items; it only prevents the Cost / Volume comparison.
Note: Dosage invoicing is blocked while your PSS subscription is expired. Renew under Subscription & Billing (see Section 5) and try again.
Job dosages and the Include Job Dosages prompt
Dosages your technicians record on job stops are billed the same way as service route dosages only when Job Dosage Invoicing is switched on under Jobs & Quotes → Configure → General (the Include dosages from completed jobs on dosage invoices checkbox; see Section 3). When that setting is off and one or more of the selected properties has job dosages in the period, PSS pauses and asks Include Job Dosages? before creating anything:
- Include them this time — this batch bills job dosages as well as route dosages. The company setting is not changed.
- Route dosages only — job dosages are left off these invoices.
- Cancel — nothing is created.
Two per-template flags override both the setting and your answer: a job template marked Always invoice dosages is always billed, and one marked Do not invoice dosages is never billed. Only job visits that have been marked done are considered.
Note: The Dosage Cost column always includes job dosages, whatever the Job Dosage Invoicing setting says, because it measures what you spent. The invoice may therefore total less than the column shows when job dosages are excluded from billing.
