The widget combines three pieces of data you maintain elsewhere in PSS. Understanding this makes the table much easier to read, and it tells you where to go when a value looks wrong.
- Pool Volume comes from the property record (Pool Volume in the property’s details; see Section 1). It is shown in gal when your company uses imperial measurements and L when it uses metric.
- Monthly Revenue comes from the property’s Monthly Revenue field (see Section 1). PSS keeps a dated history of every change to that field, so the widget uses the revenue that was in effect for each month in the selected range, not just the current value. If the range covers several months, the revenue for each month is added together and the column header changes from Monthly Revenue to Revenue.
- Dosage Cost is the cost of the chemicals recorded on visits at the property whose service time falls inside the date range, on both service route visits and job visits. Each dosage is priced using the cost per unit you enter for that chemical under Settings → Visit Tasks & Costs, in the Cost Data column of the Dosages tab. A chemical with no cost entered contributes nothing.
Note: If the Dosage Cost column reads - for every property, the most likely cause is that no chemical costs have been entered under Settings → Visit Tasks & Costs. Technicians’ dosage entries alone are not enough; PSS needs a price per unit to turn quantities into money.
