Following controls whether you keep getting notifications about one specific thing—a particular job, property, client, or shopping item—without changing your settings for that event type everywhere else.
- Unfollow a notification when you no longer care about updates for that one record. You’ll stop receiving further notifications tied to it, while still getting the same kind of notification for every other job, property, or client.
- Follow re-subscribes you to a record you previously unfollowed.
When you follow or unfollow, PSS shows a brief confirmation message naming the event and the record it applies to—for example, Unfollowed Route Visit Completed for Karen Makely – North Pool.
Note: Unfollowing is the right tool for muting a single noisy record. To change which event types reach you at all, use Notification Preferences instead (see 9.11).
