Creating Work from a Notification

Because notifications often prompt you to act, the + button at the top of the list lets you start new work without leaving the page:

  • Add Service Route — opens the new service route form (see Section 2).
  • Add Job — opens the new job form (see Section 3).
  • Add Shopping Item — opens the new shopping item form (see Section 14).
The create menu: Add Service Route, Add Job, and Add Shopping Item.

Note: When you open one of these forms while a notification is selected, PSS pre-fills what it can from that notification: the client and property for Add Job and Add Shopping Item, and the property for Add Service Route. If the selected notification has no client or property (a client-only event, for example), the form opens blank.
