Click any notification in the list to open its full record in the reading pane on the right. The notification is marked read automatically as soon as you open it.
The reading pane is laid out top to bottom:
- The title of the event sits at the top-left, with the action buttons to its right (see 9.4).
- A summary line restates what happened in plain language.
- A detail list spells out the specifics for that event type. For a completed job visit, for example, you’ll see the Job ID, Subject, Job Type, Client, Property, Assigned Technician, Start Time, Finish Time, and Duration. Other event types show the fields that matter to them—readings and conditions for a Control Center alert, item and quantity for a shopping item, and so on.
Some notifications also include extra blocks beneath the details, such as a message the technician typed, before/after photos, the fields that changed when a record was edited, the reason a visit was skipped, or the client’s feedback on a review.
Note: A timestamp at the bottom (Generated at…) records when PSS produced the notification.
