Visit History has two ways to look at the same visits, chosen with the pair of view icons just to the left of the page title:
- Side-by-side view (the split-panel icon) — the default. A searchable visit list on the left, the selected visit’s full detail pane on the right, and three summary metrics across the top. This is the view described through 7.9.
- List view (the list icon) — a sortable, configurable table of visits with expandable rows, covered in 7.10.
PSS remembers which view you used last and opens it next time. The rest of this section describes the Side-by-side view. In it, the page is split into two parts:
- A summary header runs across the top, with three at-a-glance metrics for the recent period (see 7.3). These metrics appear in Side-by-side view only.
- Below that, a visit list on the left and a detail pane on the right. Click any visit in the list to open its full record on the right (see 7.5). Until you select one, the detail pane reads No visit history selected.
The controls above the visit list are:
- Add Service Visit — manually log a visit. The drop-down arrow beside it lets you choose Add Service Visit or Add Job Visit (see 7.4).
- A count in parentheses, for example (4), showing how many visits match the current search and filters.
- The filter icon (the funnel) narrows the list by work type, date, client, and more (see 7.9).
- Search visit… filters the list as you type.
The list loads more visits as you scroll down. Each visit in the list shows, at a glance:
- The client and the property (body of water), with the property address.
- The date and time the visit was finished.
- Done by [technician] — who completed the visit.
- For job visits, a colored work-type tag (for example, Filter Cleaning or Emergency Service); the color matches the job type.
- One or more small icons flagging the visit’s type and status (see the legend below).
The icons you may see on a visit are:
-
Service Route — a recurring maintenance stop.
-
Job — one-off or scheduled job work.
-
Skipped — a scheduled service route visit that was skipped.
-
Visit created on the web — the visit was created from the web app rather than synced from the mobile app.
-
Visit modified on the web — the visit was edited from the web app.
-
Visit modified date/time on web — the visit’s date or time was changed from the web app.
-
Exceptions on this visit — something on the visit needs attention. In the web app this flags a service route stop that was completed off schedule (on a day it was not due).
- A speech-bubble icon, Client left feedback — the client has rated this visit (shown only when Client Reviews is turned on for your company; see 7.5 for where to read the rating).
Note: The blue Service Route and orange Job icons also appear in the summary header (see 7.3), where they split each metric into its Service Route and Job totals. To see when and by whom a visit was created, edited, sent, viewed, or rated, open the visit and check its Activity Timeline (see 7.5).
